While I was doing the tradeskill quests I thought it would be a good idea to make a macro to ease the pain of running repetitvely boring dialogues. Good idea right? WRONG!!! What happens on the Alch quest is you finish and when you ask for your reward if you use a macro to say "Smarter" it will give you (wait for it) a shiny new SPELLCRAFTING tool! Yes you too can own your very own useless spellcrafting skill gain tool as an Alchemist. I did this once by accident and the second time to confirm. I suppose the reason is because the NAME of the spellcrafting tool is alphabetically before the Alch tool. So if you do it via macro it'll pop the SC tool instead of the Alch tool.

CSR response? (You bet your little patootie I appealed... 20 minute pointless quest only to gain an even more useless reward?!?!?!)

"I'm sorry but I can't exchange the tool for you, but I will pass this along to the dev team." Thanx for nothing asshat! Evil or Very Mad

Anyways, to sum up: If you click the words to get the reward it will be fine. Now this was a while ago, and I haven't tried it since, so I have no idea if it's still broken, if they don't fix all the LOS BS how high is this gonna rate?) but I would be careful anyways. Rolling Eyes
